Cross Sound Church CalendarSundays, February 12 and 26 - Round Table Parenting Discussion Group Join us at the BHS Commons on both Sunday evenings, 2/12 and 2/26 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Dinner and childcare provided. Come and join in the conversation with other parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends and community members about raising kids well. We will share a meal, as well as some times of teaching, conversation and prayer about the challenges and celebrations ahead. Hope you can join us. Invite a friend! Sunday, February 12, 12-3pm - Battlepoint Field Day - 5th-8th graders 5th - 8th Graders: This is for YOU! Battlepoint Field Day... We’ll be taking vans from the high school after church, having lunch at Battlepoint and then playing the best, new game of the year, ODDBALL! Bring $5 for lunch. Friday, February 17th, 6:00 - 9:00pm - Movie Night - 5th-8th graders Not doing anything for the long weekend? Join us for pizza and movie night @ the Brouwer’s house. Bring $8 for dinner and snacks. Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, the 40 days leading to Easter. This is a service that marks the beginning of gospel renewal in our lives.

Monday, 9 - 10am - Women’s Community Bible Study We are beginning the Redeemer study, “Living in a Pluralistic Society”, which will take us through the book of Judges, parts of Daniel and conclude by looking at the story of Joseph. ROOFTOP 5:19 ... As our first child, Exodus a 13 year old from Nigeria, progresses toward going home transformed, there are now other children on the horizon. We now have two children from Ecuador officially scheduled to arrive in the near future. Jhonnaton, a 6 year old boy with extensive burns will arrive at the end of February and Astrid, a 12 year old girl with below the knee amputations will be here at the end of March to be fitted for prosthetics. CSC Photo Directory It is not too late to submit a photo for the Cross Sound photo YoungLives YoungLives is a Young Life Ministry for teen moms - reaching out to teen moms in North Kitsap and Bainbridge Island. Sherri Gray and Katie Brase are looking to get this ministry active in our area. Needs will be mentors, meal providers once a month, childcare provides once a month, a committee and prayer support. An Informational Meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25th at 6:30pm - North Point Church in Poulsbo - across the street from North Kitsap High School. Empty Nester’s group The Empty Nester’s group is re-forming after a recess of two years. 9:30 - 11:00 AM, Mondays, at Kol Shalom. Where’s the church on “Tuesday Afternoons”? Send us a photo of somewhere you’ve been this summer with a caption and we’ll incorporate it in the service as an illustration of the many places that God sends us both locally and globally. (penny@crosssound.org) Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Evening women’s and evening men’s class start Monday night September 12, and the day women’s class begins on Thursday morning September 15th. The evening classes provide a wonderful way for parents to study the Bible with their school age children, as curricula for grades 1 - 12 are available. The day women’s class provides a children’s program for new borns through kindergarten. Please consider enrolling and taking BSF for a 4 - 6 week test drive.
