Maps of Nuevo San Pedrito
Village Map
The ejido of San Pedrito hugs the foothills overlooking a valley. Much of the land is steep hills covered in low forest. The village is situated just at the beginning of the foothills and thus at the highest point of the arable land. It lies approximately 500 meters from the main entrance to the ejido just off the road to the east of the ejido. This road runs from town of Cristobal Obregon approximately 2.5 km away. A river runs alongside Cristobal Obregon dividing the communities.

The natural spring they have tapped for the new water system is approximately another 500 meters further up in the hills behind the village. The plans include building a cistern at the spring to capture water and protect the source. They will run a water line from there down to the top of the village where the water will be collected in a large cistern or reservoir for further distribution. A second major line will run down into the fields for irrigation.
