Together, growing young men and women into life-long followers of Jesus, engaged in restoring God’s world. This is our hope for our 9th – 12th-grade young people at CSC. We invite all high schoolers to join in online worship!

Summer 2022 Schedule
June 17-19: 5-8th 
Miracle Ranch Camp

Come kick off Summer vacation and join us for a weekend of incredible FUN at Miracle Ranch in Port Orchard. Activities include horseback riding, a rodeo, swimming time at the lake, archery, climbing wall, snack shop, large group meetings, and the opportunity to participate in high ropes and paintball.

COVID PRECAUTIONS: Miracle Ranch is following current CDC guidelines. Currently, that means that the heads of each bunk are spaced 6 feet apart, and campers are required to wear a mask while waiting in line for meals.   

TRANSPORTATION NOTE: Students will be transported to camp in church vans or volunteer vehicles. If you would prefer to drop off and pick up your student at Miracle Ranch (15999 Sidney Rd SW, Port Orchard, WA 98367), please indicate this on your registration.

ADD-ONS: Students may add the following activities (additional $27 fee ea):

• PAINTBALL - Choose between playing against opponents in an arena, or shooting at targets at a marksman range.

• HIGH ROPES - two high ropes components involve being hoisted by teammates as high as you’d like and then swinging through the trees. The second involves climbing up to a platform on a tree and jumping for a trapeze. All of course while being safely harnessed.

 

 

June 22: 5-12TH
Day at Wild Waves

Join us for a full day of roller coasters and water slides!  High school students and 7th-8th grade will get to enjoy the park in groups of 3 or more with check in periods throughout the day. 5th & 6th grade will have chaperones with them as they explore the park. Friends are always welcome... Parents, we need drivers and chaperones to make this event happen. If you’re willing to drive and or chaperone, please let us know.

Cost: $40 for a ticket, plus $$ for lunch and dinner. (Don’t let money stop you from coming, we want you here. Scholarships are available upon request).

Movie Night: Red Dog

Join us for popcorn, snacks, and the movie, Red Dog. Based on the legendary true story of the Red Dog who united a disparate local community while roaming the Australian outback in search of his long-lost master. Friends are always welcome.

Rotary Service With a Side of Pizza

Join us as we serve our community at the Rotary Auction.  It’s a great way to get community service hours and afterward, we’ll hang out and have pizza at Woodward. Friends are always welcome.

Battle Point Park Game Day

Hooray! It’s Game Day! Be prepared to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and wet as you compete in relays, group games, and field day activities.  Your friends are welcome too!

BOARD GAMES

Join us for an introduction to modern board games for a variety of skill levels.  The games are not the tired Sorry or Monopoly you grew up with.  You will be mentored in learning the new game rules and strategies. The games we will be playing are designed to keep all players in the game until it ends and offer many different paths to victory. Some games are cooperative, with the players all working together against the game itself others may be roll and write based on luck and chance. In any case, there will be lively competition, unexpected turnovers, and boisterous fun. Your friends are welcome too! In addition, we’ll have beverages and snacks. Who will reign victorious? Friends are always welcome.

July 16-23: HIGH SCHOOL
Immersion Warm Springs (EVENT IS FULL!)

Jesus and his disciples provided us with a pretty sweet model. They ate, slept, and lived life alongside each other all the while having a front-row seat to God’s work in their lives and the lives around them.  Join us as we follow in Jesus’s footsteps in making God’s invisible kingdom visible.  For 7 days, we will partner with Sacred Roads Ministries to serve the people of the Warm Springs Reservation in Oregon. 

You must: Be 15 yrs or older, be a follower of Jesus, be willing to participate with the group, have a sense of adventure and fun, be willing to work and fill out an application

Cost: $475 covers travel, room, and board. Meals on the road not included. 

Where: We will be staying at First Baptist Church; 15 miles outside of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation.

FAY BAINBRIDGE BBQ

Join us for popcorn, candy and The Truman Show.  The Truman Show is about Truman Burbank, an insurance salesman who discovers his whole life is actually a reality TV show.  Friends are always welcome.

JURASSIC PARK MOVIE

Join us and others from our community as we watch Jurassic Park at Battle Point Park. We will be participating in Bainbridge Parks and Recreation’s “Movies in the Park” series at Battle Point Park.  Seating begins at 8:00 pm near the observatory. The movie begin 30 minutes after sunset (8:14 pm is sunset).  Bring a comfy camp chair or blanket for sitting and look for Josh and Jamie who will have snacks and drinks. Friends are always welcome.

Join us for an all-day adventure to Lake Crescent. We will carpool in the CSC vans to the cool spring-fed waters of the lake for fun in the sun. A great time to hang out and friends are always welcome.
